Just 2 years after I got this site off the ground and good things are starting to happen. This is in a large part thanks to Baha Boys founding member Nick Nortje who chatted to the owner of Angler’s Talk Magazine, Marlon Sukhnunan. (Angler’s Talk is a free fishing, boating & outdoor supplement published once a month in the East Coast)
As part of this discussion Nick pointed out the Baha Boys’ website which Marlon apparently took a liking too. They chatted about writing an article for the publication and Nick pointed Marlan in my direction for further information and photos from the site. After this however I heard nothing from Angler’s Talk and thought the whole thing had been forgotten.
A month passed and the new edition was delivered to Racetech Yamaha where Nick works. He thought nothing of it and was casually paging through the magazine when he suddenly came across a photo of himself. Surprise, surprise! And things got even better; a corresponding article appeared below the photo and was credited to me.
Nick immediately dropped me a message congratulating me on my article, to which I replied, “What article?” Turns out Marlon had pulled one of my blog entries (and corresponding photos) from the site and published it.
So there it is, the Baha Boys are officially on the map!
